GIVE A TEENAGER FROM NC HIS LIFE BACK!

Evan McGuire is a 13-year-old kid from North Carolina. He was born with ‘Renal Dysplasia’. Kidney dysplasia which is a condition in which the internal structures of one or both of a fetus’ kidneys do not develop normally while in the womb. In Evan’s case, the right kidney has cysts throughout, while the left never fully developed which resulted in him being born premature. This young man needs a living kidney donor. A living transplant typically lasts longer than from a deceased donor allowing him more time to do the things he enjoys the most: playing baseball, going to the beach, spending time with family and friends, and just being the fun loving kid that he deserves to be.  If you’re in good health and have a desire to save a teenager call the living kidney coordinator at 984-974-7568 or 984-974-0888 or email amy.woodard@unchhealth.unc.edu.
