Doctors Give this Man 6 Months to Live Unless You Can Save His Life?

James Carlson is a 55-year-old man from Norwalk, CT, has a  21-year-old daughter and is a welder. Last February James saw his skin was taking on a yellowish tint and he rushed to the doctor. James was then diagnosed with late stage liver failure. The doctor told Carlson in March that he had only three to six months to live. In the case of kidney failure, one can delay the transplant by going on dialysis. In the case of liver failure there is no such remedy and the only way to survive is a liver transplant. Did you know that the liver is the only organ in the body that can regenerate itself and typically grows back within 6 – 8 weeks. James is running out of time and needs a living liver transplant from a living liver donor to live.  An ideal donor would be between 20 and 55 years of age and be in good health. If you have the desire to save a life, please contact the Yale New Haven Liver Transplant Center at 1-866-925-3897 and tell them you want to get tested for James Carlson.
