A South Carolina mother needs the grace of a stranger to save her life.
Kayla Stambaugh is a 35-year-old mother of two beautiful kids. She was diagnosed with Lupus in 2006. Lupus is an autoimmune disease that occurs when your body’s immune system attacks your own tissues and organs. Now her diagnosis has changed into Lupus Nephritis. Lupus nephritis occurs when lupus autoantibodies affect structures in your kidneys that filter out waste. Now Kayla is at End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). She is not only fighting Lupus, she is also battling ESRD.
Kayla is fighting to stay alive for her two beautiful children, especially for her elder son who is on the autism spectrum.
