Wow, what a movie, Henry & Me. A movie with meaning, purpose and hope for kids and adults alike. Henry & Me, is an animated movie about a child who is diagnosed with cancer and his journey to find out what choices really make a home run hitter. The angelic forces that guide this boy in this journey are the NY Yankees players from the past and present. The Yankees are heavenly guides that throw divine curve balls to show this boy true strength and beauty. Although the subject material is heavy, the life lessons in this film bring the entire audience to places that soar in the heart and soul. And what this movie illustrates is at the end of the day what makes us all human is not what we get, it’s what we can give to others who are struggling. Richard Gere, Cyndi Lauper, Danny Aiello are just a few of the celebrities who are the voices in this animated film. The celebs gave their time and voice for free so that a portion of the proceeds from this film, can go to their favorite charities. Just a shout out to the Moms (www.themoms.com) for moderating the Q & A after the premiere with the cast and crew. The moms show us that mommy bloggers to celebs to ball players, all have a position in the outfield of life. And a special thanks to all the folks who made this movie to remind us all, that the most important lesson in life, starts with ourselves, to believe anything is possible, if you believe. Special shout out to the NY Yankees for playing ball with a larger purpose and using the love of the game to create a better world. Save 1 Person. Save The World. Www.save1person.org
