Tonglei “Tony” Zhuang from Minnesota has stage 4 chronic kidney disease. He was first diagnosed with nephronophthisis in 2019. Nephronophthisis is a disorder that affects the kidneys and characterized by inflammation and scarring (fibrosis) that impairs kidney function. Tony was also diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa when he was 15 years old, in addition, he has also been diagnosed with hypokalemia, a metabolic imbalance which is characterized by extremely low levels in the blood as well as chronic gout and hyperaldosteronism.  It’s time for Tonglei to heal and live life to the fullest and he’s looking for a kind hearted stranger to create his healing miracle. At this stage Tonglei “Tony” Zhuang desperately needs a living kidney donor for a transplant.
