Save Mary – Savannah resident Mary Mills is the Director Operations of Live Oak Restaurant Group in Savannah. Mary was diagnosed with PKD (polycystic kidney disease) 32 years ago. She was suffering persistent urinary tract infections at that time. This disorder causes cysts to grow in the kidneys, eventually replacing much of the organ’s mass, reducing function, and leading to kidney failure. Mills is now suffering from end stage renal failure. Mary needs a living kidney donor to survive. Did you know you can live a long healthy life with only one kidney?
