Lisa Kiistenberg has spent her life helping others, now she is the one who needs generosity from a stranger. Lisa, 56, from Brooklyn, NY is in end stage renal failure and needs a living kidney donor. Lisa worked for the board of ed for 35 years as a speech as a language pathologist for special needs children. Both Lisa and her husband have done a lot of volunteer work – for causes such as American Cancer Society, National Kidney Foundation, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, and deliver toys to kids in hospitals.
