Ayesha Edmondson from Manchester, England has stage 4 kidney disease. Ayesha is only 49-year-old Ayesha and is a mum of two kids. She was diagnosed with CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease) in September 1998, during her first pregnancy. She was only 25 upon her diagnoses. Ayesha’s diagnosis of CKD is FSG (Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis) – Focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) is a disease in which scar tissue develops on the glomeruli, the small parts of the kidneys that filter waste from the blood. She was able to lead a normal life up to stage 3 Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). But as soon as she hit stage 4 everything changed. Ayesha has been recently diagnosed with fibromyalgia to add to her list of chronic conditions. In 2019 to November 2020 Ayesha’s kidney decreased its function by 33% and the current function is at 22 percent.
