Kidney

Taj Mohammad is 71-years-old from Indiana. He needs a kidney transplant. He is an electrical design engineer. Last year Taj had a major gout attack in his right knee. Doctors referred him to a nephrologist. Tests revealed Taj’s kidneys were working at around 30% of normal functioning. His kidneys were failing. Now his kidney performance droped down to 12% and he needs a transplant. If his kidney function drops below about 8%, Taj will need to go on dialysis. Taj’s doctor doesn’t want to put him on dialysis just yet because once you get on it, most can’t get off until a transplant.
HIs wife Nisha Mohammad, put a message on her car windows, written as “Need kidney. Type O.” and a phone number to contact her. She is desperately searching for a living kidney donor for her husband.
Are you in good health and have the desire to save a life? If you answered yes, please call Nisha Mohammad at (309) 824-1450. She will respond to your call or if you cannot donate a kidney directly to her husband, you can help decrease his wait time through the hospital’s paired kidney exchange program.Save 1 Person.
