Shimon Vogel is a kind soul that has dedicated his life to others. He is currently a librarian at the Abraham Joshua Heschel School and has also served as a hazzan at Congregation Anshe Chesed in Linden, NJ. Shimon has been diagnosed with end stage kidney disease and desperately needs a kidney. His wife Diane Vogel wishes that Shimon lives to see their two youngest children to their wedding. Mrs. Vogel wants to spread the urgency of his need of a kidney to the world, hoping that there is someone who will respond to this urgent need.  Do you have the desire to save a life? If you answered yes, please call 718-431-9831 ext. 209 or email For more information about kidney donation, please visit
