David Allred, 30, has cystic fibrosis and needs a double lung transplant.

Allred, 30, of North Carlolina, was born with cystic fibrosis (CF), a chronic illness that affects the

lungs, liver and intestines. CF causes the body to produce unusually thick, sticky mucus that clogs

the lungs and leads to life-threatening lung infections.
