50-years-old, Clark is a type 1 Diabetic. In January 2021, NYC DEP detective Clark contracted COVID, on the job, and was hospitalized, with the COVID infection, his kidneys took a hard hit and the damage was irreversible. In April of this year, Clark was informed that he has Stage 5 Renal failure and is in need of a kidney transplant. A kidney transplant will allow Clark to live a fuller, longer and healthier life.
