Haley Halford, a 37-year-old woman from Wilmington, NC, is courageously battling Stage 5 Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). Diagnosed at 33, Haley’s journey began with chronic migraines that led to a life-altering discovery. After multiple tests and a biopsy in April 2021, doctors confirmed she was in end-stage kidney failure.
CKD is known as a “silent killer” because it often progresses without symptoms until the final stage—when the damage is severe and options are limited. Today, Haley’s kidneys are functioning at just 3%. She spends 3.5 hours, three times a week, undergoing dialysis in order to survive.
But dialysis is not a cure—it’s a lifeline. What Haley urgently needs now is a living kidney donor.
If you’re in good health and feel called to make a life-saving difference, please consider becoming Haley’s donor. Even if donating isn’t possible for you, sharing her story could help her find the match she so desperately needs.
