Christy Millar, a 40-year-old woman from Upton in the United Kigdom life changed dramatically after a sudden and devastating illness left her with complete kidney failure. Christy’s journey has been one of extraordinary resilience, but today, she needs help more than ever.
In 2006, Christy’s appendix burst, causing sepsis and total kidney failure. She endured a failed transplant from her husband and five more years on dialysis. A second transplant gave her freedom for nearly a decade—but sadly, her kidney is now failing. Christy is back on dialysis three times a week, waiting desperately for a new kidney.
