Save a Cow Boy! Howard Lulua from Canada is mountain ranger and one of a kind horse trainer, grew up in Nemiah Valley, he spent much of his time chasing, catching, racing and training horses. Lulua is one of the few remaining horse trainers in the Tŝilhqot’in Nation. He was diagnosed with stage five chronic kidney disease in February 2022, but continued to train horses up until the point he could no longer do it. Lulua is a role model for many of the Tŝilhqot’in Nation. This hero is in dire need to have a kidney transplant from a living donor. If you are in good health, have a desire to be an angel and would like to save a life please call Vancouver General Hospital at 1-604-875-5182, 1-855-875-5182 or email kidneydonornurse@vch.ca. You can also contact St. Paul’s Hospital at 604-806-9027, 1-877-922-9822 or email donornurse@providencehealth.bc.ca for more information. If donating isn’t an option, sharing this post could still make a world of difference by helping Lulua find a match. Can you give Lulua the gift of life? Your gift of a kidney will enable him to serve the communities by training more horses and to be with his teenage daughter for some more years.
