Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth reunite for Mystery Girls…

THE Moms  - Denise Albert and Melissa Musen Gerstein invited us to see the Mystery Girls which is be show on the ABC Family Channel.  I had fun at this event.  It was great to see the 90120 girls back together again.  The show itself was fun to watch very kitchy and campy in its style and comedy.    The characters were fun if you just want to watch something and not think about real life or problems in life.  They make fun of their lifestyle.  When we had the chance to hear Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth after the screenings, Tori had said that used to love shows like “Moonlighting”, “Hart to Hart”, “Charlie’s Angels” and “Remington Steele” which were comedic and solved mysteries in a one hour show. Tori said she had never seen it done as a half hour sitcom and that is what inspired her to do this show.   This comedy to me, seemed to appeal  more to the moms and adults of the family.  Some of the subject matter is a bit racy for the younger kids of the family.  So moms if you just want to sit back and laugh, this would be a half hour to turn to the Mystery Girls on the ABC Family Channel.  The message I take away from this show and the people who are behind it is that you can reinvent yourself at anytime.  Never give up and by never giving up, you just might see yourself having the time of your life….So maybe we’re not saving a life here (we’re realistic here at Save 1 Person), but we are adding to what gives life sparkle by laughing at our ourselves. Sometimes to enjoy a life, life should not be that heavy, and maybe even, just downright entertaining and silly.
