ABC’s Good Morning America Anchor, Robin Roberts, was diagnosed with MDS and needed a bone marrow match to live more than a year or two.
Luckily her sister, Sally-Ann, was a perfect match. Robin talks about her life experiences in her book, “Everybody’s Got Something”. This experience of needing a bone marrow match, inspired Robin to reach out and help others who had similiar health issues and needed their own life saving bone marrow match.
