Erin

Erin Cornell is 29-years-old only and grew up in Yorba Linda, California. She was born with a congenital heart disease, she has had 4 open heart surgeries and has been fighting kidney disease her whole life. Erin first received a transplant 13 years back from her mom when she was 16.  However that kidney failed two years ago.
Now, she is in stage 5 kidney failure and in need of another transplant to save her life and get off dialysis. Dialysis is not a cure, it simply buys some time before one is able to get a transplant. Dialysis has become more and more draining for her, mentally and physically. Erin is very positive and wants to have her life back.
Erin’s antibodies are so high that it makes it difficult for people in her close family to qualify to donate. This also makes the situation more difficult to find a kidney that her body will accept but it’s not impossible. Erin is very positive about finding a match as she keeps battling this horrible disease. She is able to accept type A (+,-) and O (+,-) blood types.
