Jacob Silver is a Roseland, New Jersey resident, he is 30-year’s-old and has a background in economics and physics. Jacob has a knack for teaching and a desire to become an engineer. Jacob tragically was diagnosed with a disease called neurogenic bladder when he was just six months old. Since then he’s had several surgeries, multiple bacterial infections and now kidney failure. Since October of 2017 he has been on peritoneal dialysis. Last December, it stopped working and he had to begin hemodialysis. Unfortunately, it has not been going well for him. He’s having an extremely hard time adjusting to the differences in diets and the amount of fluids allowed. Jacob could resume a healthy life again if he was gifted a KIDNEY. Are you Jacob’s gift? Maybe God gave us two kidneys, to give a spare…This is the biggest act of kindness a person can ever do…. If you would like to give the gift of life, please contact Saint Barnabas Medical Center, Kidney Transplant Division, 973-322-5346; the kidney center at Jackson Memorial in Miami, 305-585-1111; or the kidney center at Columbia Presbyterian New York City, 212-305-3273.
